Krysta Thompson has been teaching with The Dothan School of Dance for 16 years. Her passion and love for the arts has driven her to pursue a career in dance, as well as, other venues inspired by her experiences throughout her life. From the young age of two, Krysta knew that her heart belonged to the stage.
She trained with The Dothan School of Dance, and traveled to New York and many other cities to continue her training and performance experiences. She has held dance titles such as Miss Dance of Dance Masters of America Chapter #33 and New York City Dance Alliance's Outstanding Regional Dancer. She performed with the Southeast Alabama Dance Company for 11 years, and she currently assists and choreographs for the company.
Krysta is married to Thomas Thompson, and they have a beautiful little girl, Olivia, who loves the art of dance as much as her mother. Krysta's goal is to teach not only the technical side of dance, but to instill a love of dance into her students; teaching them to dance from their heart.
